CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
(Friday, December 15, 2006) - - Woodard Racing owner Rick Woodard announced

GEARS Foundation at O’Reilly Raceway Park on Saturday, August
5, 2006.
Founded by owners Mary Louise
Miller and Stephany Mullen, SHIFT GEARS will directly assist charitable
causes across the United States in support of aiding under privileged
families and children with social and educational needs in today’s
society. “I am really looking forward to the possibilities that
SHIFT GEARS will bring to not only our community, but the communities
that we race in,” states Team Owner, Mary Louise Miller.
The first fund raising event
is “Tools for School” designed to target assisting area
programs aiding the needs of families and children during the school
year. Necessities such as school bags, school supplies and even personal

Combined Community Services to start the school year off right for area
kids in need. CCS holds an annual “Christmas in July” program
that gives area families in need of assistance in getting all the school
supplies necessary. Last year CCS handed out over 750 school bags filled
with school supplies to children in Kosciusko County. This year, CCS
was struggling to make ends meet with the program.
H57 Hoodia will be presenting
a check in sum of $2500.00 to SHIFT GEARS “Tools for School”
for CCS this weekend at O’Reilly Raceway Park. “Thanks to
H57, this will be a year to remember for the kids and it could not have
been a better kick off for SHIFT GEARS,” states Miller.
In addition to the donation,
H57 Hoodia will be debuting the #70 H57 Hoodia Chevrolet in the NASCAR
Busch Series Kroger 200 benefiting Riley Hospital for Children, Saturday
August 5, The race will be aired live on TNT at 9:00 pm EST. WRPM Inc.’s
president, Jeff Witherell, brought the opportunity to both parties.
